By registering for a class, you agree to all of the below:

• When you register for after school classes you agree to register for the 8-week session in full and no refunds are given once the session begins. The dates for each 8-week session are on the class calendar.
  
• Our new “subscription” system charges you $125 on the Monday of the 1st and 5th weeks of each session and does not stop until the end of the school year. When you are registered for a session you are required to pay both $125 payments, which equates to the $250 full cost of the session.
  
• Your child is indefinitely enrolled in the same day and time for the entire school year unless you A) cancel this “subscription” in your account between weeks 5-6 of a session or B) you notify us by the end of week 6 that your child will not be continuing. This cancellation window is to allow us to open that spot to a new student, and if you cancel your child’s registration after that window we incur an acute loss of business. Due to this, we reserve the right to charge a $50 late cancellation fee to the credit card on file to those who cancel their child’s registration after the Friday of Week 6.
  
• You must create an account on our website to register for Old Spool After School and save your credit card information.

• Make up Classes: each student may make up *one* class each 8 week session during the designated Saturday Make up Class which will be during 6th week of each session (dates can be found on the printable Calendar). If they miss class in weeks 7 or 8 they may make up that class in the next 6th Saturday Make up Class. You must contact Julia to reserve your child’s spot in Saturday class, and if you cannot attend the Saturday class we are unable to accommodate another make up date and apologize for the inconvenience.

• We do not accommodate multi-class make ups for students on vacation and we do not prorate or refund for missed classes.
  
• No refunds or credits will be given for missed classes and hours are non-transferrable to another group class or camp. There are no make up classes offered once the school year ends.

Age Requirement and Prerequisite:

• Due to insurance reasons, all children who take machine sewing classes at Old Spool Sewing Studio must be at least 8 years old. No exceptions.
• It is mandatory that all new kid students take the Intro to Sewing Workshop or the equivalent private lesson before they begin the After School Classes. You may register for an Intro to Sewing class at the same time you register a new student for After School classes. If your child has been to the studio for a Scout Event or Birthday party, they still need to take the Intro Class.
• If you do not register a new student for an Intro to Sewing Class or we do not have record of them having taken the class, you will be refunded immediately and your spot in class will be forfeited. Exceptions are made for children who already have learned basic skills and have contacted us to discuss, but we still urge you to register them for the Intro to Sewing class so they can learn how we do things here and get to know us as teachers.
