The First Step
New to sewing? Every journey at our shop starts with our Intro to Sewing Workshop. It is our mandatory first step to make sure you are comfortable with the sewing machine and process as well as creates a strong foundation to build your skills upon.
Kids & Teens
Intro to Sewing Workshop
The perfect first step for every young maker! In this one-time workshop, students get hands-on with our Baby Lock machines to learn the basics and sew their very own drawstring bag.
After School Classes
Old Spool After School is a weekly creative home for makers. From garments to quilting, students build real skills while experiencing the joy of making something by hand.
Hand Sewing Classes
Big fun for our littlest makers! This monthly class is the perfect introduction to sewing. We start with a story and then dive into a hand sewing project inspired by the book using a real needle and thread.
Camps 2026
The ultimate creative getaway! Whether it is Winter, Spring, or Summer break, our standalone camp weeks are designed to keep makers inspired while school is out.
Adult Classes

Social sewing for every skill level. Join a project based class or learn a new technique to flex your creative muscles in our fully equipped studio and make something you are proud of: whether it’s a quilt, bag, garment or more.

Bring your own project and enjoy the company of like-minded creatives. It’s the perfect time to find your sewjo and finally tackle those works in progress.
